Lone Star Gang
A Texas Family on Fire for Christ

Perhaps you have wondered why I am not using our real names on our website or any of our blogs.

This is something I started doing in early 2006 when I first started seriously blogging.

Here is how and why I decided to give our family code names (original blog entry dated 3/18/06 - updated 4/9/08):

Homeschoolblogger has a fantastic feature on it where you can click a button and do a "random blog".  As a result I found this wonderful blog called Dandelion Seeds.  Amy has put an enourmous amount of time into her blog and has turned it into a ministry. She had a very important post called Safe Code.   I would advise all who blog or have personal web pages to read this important information.  It is our jobs as parents to protect our children and using this safe code is such an easy thing to do.  While I do want my children safe, I also want them to seem life-like instead of a statistic so here is my comprimise.

Henceforth, my children shall be known as:

Prince "T"- 12.5 salvation granted per request in 2001

Princess "C" - 10.5 salvation granted per request in 2004

Sir "C" - 5.5 still in training as a knight

Lady "M" - 4.5 still in training as a Lady-in-Waiting

Please prayerfully consider the safety of the sweet little ones the Lord has loaned  you. Proverbs 2:10-12

In Him,

Brandi
